Fuel contaminated with water

Water contaminated fuel, whether it's petrol or diesel, is certainly a serious matter to handle in a car - specifically in advanced common-rail engines. Having water inside your petrol or diesel can certainly produce idling issues, irregular running, abnormal smoke and, if not remedied fully, potentially ruined injectors. Having water in petrol is less difficult to get rid of as compared to water in diesel - mainly due to the fact that diesel is an oil. In spite of this we are able to handle both situations very quickly.

Be aware that if the vehicle has been run on the fuel contaminated with water it will more than likely need a new fuel filter fitted seeing as the previous one will likely be thoroughly water-logged and ineffective.

Wrong Fuel in Car Lower Carden, Cheshire

Fuel Drain Lower Carden - Lower Carden Fuel Drain

I had appreciated a great afternoon golfing on my off day and was feeling satisfied the next working day as I was on the way to aid a new family on holiday in Lower Carden. They had pulled over after filling diesel into their SEAT, and they were roughly half an hour away. I got there at their location and smiled to myself as I heard to the gal telling her partner off for turning out to be so foolish. "Precisely how could you actually find a way to put the wrong fuel in the vehicle?" she told him. I tried to clarify that this problem occurs quite frequently in Cheshire and that it is absolutely nothing to be concerned about, even so he yet still got his ear bent by his missus. Poor lad. Anyhow, I extracted the wrong fuel, gave the fuel system a flush and gave it some proper fuel. Watching while they drove away I shouted hasta la vista and thought about what her indoors would say to me if perhaps I did the same thing... I'd personally never ever live it down!
